We will begin the tour at stop No.1 Naciones Unidas Boulevard where you can find many malls and enjoy the green spaces La Carolina Park offers.
We continue the tour at stop No.2 the Botanical Garden. Just steps away you will find the Botanical Garden of Quito where the main ecosystems of the Ecuadorian Andes are exhibited. Then at Stop No.3 La Mariscal - Plaza Foch you will find a great variety of bars, restaurants, and cafes. It is the principle area for entertainment in this zone.
Continuing the journey at stop No.4 El Ejido - Craft Market where you will be able to find in a few blocks a colorful shopping experience which offers a great variety of crafts and souvenirs. Also, in close proximity you can visit the National Museum of Culture which exhibits Ecuadorian art from all its history.
We continue to stop No.5 at the Contemporary Art Center where you can enjoy visual and digital art as well as other artistic expressions. At stop No.6 Basilica Church you can learn about the most important work of Ecuadorian neogothic architecture and visit its Condor Tower and Clock Tower. After driving down the street of the seven crosses we will arrive at stop No.7 the Church of La Compañía. It is the ideal stop for visiting the historic center since all the attractions are nearby such as the La Compañía Church which is the most representative work of Baroque in Ecuador.
We continue to stop No.8 at the Panecillo lookout point from where you can admire the majesty of the historical center and meet the monument of the Virgin which is inspired by a sculpture made by Bernardo de Legarda. Then we will go down to stop No.9 La Ronda. This is a perfect place to visit the traditional bohemian street of La Ronda where we recommend you sample the delicious cuisine of Quito. In the next to the last stop at No.10 Plaza Grande, within a few short steps you can visit the government palace and the oldest cathedral in South America dating from the sixteenth century.
The last stop No. 11 is at García Moreno Park located in front of the Basilica del Voto Nacional Church.
Finally, we will return to stop No.1 at the Naciones Unidas Boulevard. You can take this entire tour with a single ticket aboard the Quito Tour Bus, but if you do not have much time, we recommend taking the panoramic tour that lasts about 3 hours.
