1. The Beginner
The Beginner Tasting is a great way for someone who’s new to Tequila to learn more about this amazing liquor. What is agave? What’s the difference between blancos and reposados? What should one be looking for in a quality tequila? With the Beginner tasting, we will start with clear tequilas, look at what pairs up for mixing, and move on to some more aged amber varieties for sipping. Move from a novice to an expert with a total of 3 quality tequilas sampled throughout this hour and a half tasting.
2. The Connoisseur
On this tasting, you'll fine tune your appreciation for the nectar of the Gods. Do you have a favorite tequila? Let’s compare bodies and bouquets. We will sip some artisanal varieties, smoky dark anejos and exclusive extra anejos. You'll be surprised with some hidden gems discovered on our travels. A total of 6 carefully hand picked, quality tequilas will be sampled throughout the hour and a half tasting.
3. The Mezcalero
It’s not hallucinogenic and doesn’t always come with a worm, Mezcal: Tequila’s smoky, mysterious, cool uncle. Despite Mezcal’s growing popularity in the liquor and cocktail scene, much of the product never even makes it to US or Canada due to trade restrictions and small batch quantities. This is your opportunity to try something new and see why this artisanal drink is receiving so much attention. A total of 6 quality, small distillery mezcals will be sampled throughout this hour and a half tasting.
