This is a one-way 4-hour excursion accommodating 1 - 12 guests from City Dock in Napa to San Francisco Ferry Terminal. Enjoy the beautiful marshland eco-system with all the waterfowl and animal wildlife residents.Kiwi Cat, a 50' custom built power catamaran yacht, was designed and built in New Zealand by ESPN TV Network for the filming of the 2000 America’s Cup and later, used again in the 2003 America’s Cup for its extreme stability, maneuverability, safety and comfort. Now the Kiwi Cat is at home in the San Francisco Bay and Napa Valley.
This excursion will travel the entire length of the 14 miles of the beautiful Napa River through the Carneros region of the Napa Valley to the city of Vallejo. We will pass the World War II boat building yard at Mare Island which was the first Naval Station on the west coast commencing operations in 1851 and ending in 1996. It will traverse San Pablo Bay past Richmond Bridge and cruise further south past Angel Island and Alcatraz.
Time permitting, we may venture out toward the Golden Gate Bridge and on past City front to the Ferry Building. The extra hour rate, if needed is $650.00/hour. This is weather depending and tidal conditions present at the time.
