In the morning, your English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and then transfer you to visit the world wonder, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is reputed as the largest underground military base in the world. The museum is comprised with three vaults. These vaults are approximately 1 mile (1.5 kilometer) away from the Mausoleum of First Emperor Qin Shihuang. The 7,7995 square feet (14,629 square meter) Vault 1 was excavated in 1975. The 6,000 life-size terracotta warriors and horses are acclaimed as the “eighth wonder of the world.” In the pits bronze swords, spears, crossbows and other weapons were found, all well preserved. Vault 2 covers an area of 19,685 square feet (6,000 square meters) and contains 1,000 odd pottery men and horses. Vault 3 is only 1,640 square feet (500 square meters) large and has 68 guards. Later, you will take a break for lunch at your own expense but your guide will gladly offer ideas and recommendations. Afterwards, drive back to the downtown area to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the city symbol of Xi’an with precious Buddhist statues and murals. As the symbol of the old-line Xian, Big Wild Goose Pagoda (also called Dayabta) is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It is located in the southern suburb of Xian City, about  2.49 miles (4 kilometers) from the downtown of the city. Standing in the Da Ci'en Temple complex, it attracts numerous visitors for its fame in the Buddhist religion and its simple but appealing style of construction. It is also rated as a National Key Cultural Relic Preserve as well as an 4-Star Tourist Attraction. In addition, it was added to the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014, together with other sites along the ancient Silk Road. Then, continue your visit to the lively Muslim Quarter, where all kinds of delicious local foods and souvenirs can be found.
