See wolves and wildlife in Yellowstone! Enjoy a guided winter wildlife tour in America's first national park.A Winter Day in Yellowstone
The day will start early with a pick up from your hotel and lodging. Taking advantage of the low light as we tour across Yellowstone's northern range in search of wolves and other wildlife. From Gardiner to Cooke City, MT and all across the northern boundary of Yellowstone, provides some of the best wolf habitat in North America. Winter can also be some of the best time of the year to see the other animals of Yellowstone. Moose, elk, bison, antelope, big horn sheep, birds of prey, fox, coyotes, and more critters can be viewed during the winter months. Deep mountain snows often force the grazing animals of the park into lower elevations.
The route will take us from the park's North Entrance or Mammoth Hot Springs to the Northeast Entrance and Cooke City, Montana. There always many stops along the way for wildlife and scenic vistas. Tour stops include Mammoth Hot Springs and the Lamar Valley! All tours are private and custom. The tour includes lunch, transportation from lodging, and use of viewing scopes and binoculars for maximum wildlife viewing.
