In this tour you will get off the tourist trails of the coast and explore Malaga’s countryside. You will visit two small wineries, and guided by the owner, you will learn how the different varieties are cultivated and the processes involved in the wine elaboration. There will be time to visit the old town of Ronda and do some sightseeing, including it’s impressive bridge and the oldest bullfighting arena of Spain.

This Private Guided Tour is the ultimate way to discover the stunning Ronda Valley, inhabited since the prehistory and known for the quality of her wines since roman times. In this tour you will get off the tourist trails of the coast and explore Malaga’s countryside. You will visit two small wineries, and guided by the owner, you will learn how the different varieties are cultivated and the processes involved in the wine elaboration. There will be time to visit the old town of Ronda and do some sightseeing, including it’s impressive bridge and the oldest bullfighting arena of Spain.You will be picked up at 09:30am by a driver and an English-speaking tour host in luxury minivan or minibus. At 10:15 you will have breakfast before arriving to the first winery. Breakfast will be at ‘Venta’ (inn by the road side) for a typical breakfast. As there is also food tasting later in the tour, don't fill up too much!
At 11am you will have a winery visit that is a guided visit of an organic family-owned winery and their installations. After the visit, you will relax by the al-fresco terrace with great views over the valley. There you will enjoy a guided tasting of organic wines. At 1pm you will then visit Ronda. You will have a guided walking tour in the old town of Ronda. Admire the sights over the valley, the impressive ‘New Bridget’ (Puente Nuevo, built in 1740), and the bull fight arena, one of the oldest in the world and supposed to be where the modern bullfighting was born.
At 2:30pm you will go to the second winery, which is a small, organic winery where you will have the opportunity to learn about the vineyards and how different varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, or Merlot, are cultivated. Afterwards you will taste their white and red wines together with a typical Andalusian feast, cooked and served by the winery owners.
Finally you will be driven back to the door of your home or hotel where you will arrive around 6pm.
