This Santa Barbara wine tour is ideal for couples and small groups. On this full-day excursion, you can relax and enjoy the scenery as you are chauffeured to boutique estate wineries for private tastings. You will have an intimate experience as you meet the people that have a passion for wine making. After your knowledgeable and friendly driver picks you up from your hotel or residence, you will enjoy a scenic drive while taking in the beauty and sights of beautiful Santa Barbara. You will make a stop at 4 boutique and family-run wineries, where you will try some of the most sought after Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and other varietals that have made Santa Barbara wine country world renown. Around midday, your driver will set up a delicious lunch at one of the vineyards, or cellars where you will have the chance to enjoy a picnic before your next tasting.
Your last stop will be at a tasting room that specializes in pouring hard-to-find wines. Even though this tasting room is not surrounded by vineyards, it carries some of the most exclusive wines in Santa Barbara. Once your tasting excursion has finished, you will take you back to your hotel or residence where you can take a much needed rest after a long day of pleasing your palate.
Some of the wineries we visit charge no tasting fees, some charge minimal fees. If you have to pay for tasting fees, the most you would pay would be $20 per person for the entire day of tastings.
