Day 1 : Istanbul - Gallipoli - Canakkale
After meeting with guide at the hotel, you will have 5 hours driving to Gallipoli where you will visit the battlefield. After Lunch you will visit the war museum, Anzac Cove, The Nek and Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials. After the tour you will have overnight stay in Canakkale.
Day 2 : Canakkale - Troy - Pergamon - Kusadasi
Departure from hotel after breakfast; Troy is 30min driving distance from Canakkale; you will visit this ancient city, learn about its significance in Greek mythology and in the Trojan War. There is another 3 hours driving to Bergama, where you will have lunch in a local restaurant; after lunch you will get a cable car to the ancient city of Pergamon. While you enjoy the breathtaking view, guide will explain you about the Altar of Zeus, the 2nd largest library of the ancient world, the Temple of Hadrian and the most inclined theater of the ancient world. You will also visit the hospital of Asklepion where Galen, a famous doctor, completed his finest work. After the tour there is 3 more hours driving to Kusadasi; overnight stay.
Day 3: Kusadasi - Ephesus - Kusadasi
Departure from hotel after breakfast and short drive to the ancient city of Ephesus. You will see Odeon, Temple of Domitian, Fountain of Trajan, Terrace Houses Houses, Celsus Library and the largest theater of the Asia Minor. Another site to visit is is the House of Virgin Mary (according to the Catholic church, Virgin Mary lived her last days in Ephesus area). Depending on your interest we can visit some workshops where you can see some handcrafts being done. On the way back to Kusadasi you will visit The temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient World. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.
Day 4: Kusadasi - Priene - Miletos - Didyma - Kusadasi
After breakfast in hotel we will take you to Priene, an ancient city from the 4th century B. C. The temple of Athena, the theatre and the house of Alexander The Great are the highlights of this site. We don’t suggest this tour to guests with walking problem because the city was founded on a steep hill.
Another stop is Miletos, where you can see the Faustina Baths and the Theatre.
After short drive we will have lunch in Didyma. Afterwards, we will see the Temple of Apollo, the second biggest Greek temple after the one in Delphi. Return to Kusadasi for overnight stay
Day 5: Kusadasi - Aphrodisias - Pamukkale - Istanbul
We will drive 2 hours from Kusadasi. The most interesting points of Aphrodisias, the city of Aphrodite, are the stadium, odeon, monumental gateway and the Temple of Aphrodite. After lunch we will have 1 more hour driving to reach Pamukkale where you will see ancient Hierapolis, the theatre and Necropolis, one of the biggest ancient graveyards. Pamukkale as a miracle of nature famous for it’s white thermal pools. After the tour we will transfer you to the airport for 19:50 Istanbul flight.
