Enjoy this every 2-hour private walking ghost tour of Vilnius. You will learn about many different myths and legends, horror stories, various war stories and all about an executioner‘s extraordinary life in the Middle Ages and much more.Once the sun goes down and Vilnius starts revealing its dark side, you will meet your local guide and enjoy a thrilling and eery evening full of stories, myths and legends.
First stop on the tour, you will visit Vilnius Cathedral and it's square. The architecturally-stunning monument is a mixture once used to be a Pagan Shrine. As an option (additional fees apply) you can even visit the inside of the cathedral, and admire a magical painting of St. Casimirus and learn all about his legend.
Moving on to the Western corner of the lower castle, you will listen to a tragic love-story of Lithuanian Grand Duke and his sorrow after his wife‘s death. Moving on to the Eustachy Wollowicz Palace, you will learn all about the monks, and get to see the beautiful and unique baroque-styled features. Then, passing through the Old Town courtyard, you will reach Pilies street to see the shrine of the pagan god, Ragutis.
Next, you will head toward the Vilnius City Wall Bastion, a center of many mystical legends and stories. Nearby, you will visit Gates of Subacius, the dwelling of the most famous Vilnius executioner.
Towards the end of the tour, you will reach City Hall square, a backdrop of tortures, death penalties and executions, as well as location of the prison.
