This day programme provides one with the opportunity to touch & interact with selected orphaned animals, walk with rehabilitated animals, encounter some of South Africa’s deadliest snakes and learn more about nature in a fun way.
Depart your hotel around 08h00 and travel to Tshukudu Game Lodge. Embark on a unique morning open vehicle safari to view lions up close in the breeding camps, touch & interact with selected orphaned animals, walk with rehabilitated animals and learn more about nature in a fun way!
This experience is followed by lunch before heading to the Khamai Reptile Park where experienced handlers will show you some of Southern Africa’s most deadliest snakes, including Black and Green Mambas, Boomslang, Mozambiquan Spitting Cobras, Puff Adders and Vine Snakes.
The centre was started in 1984 by Donald Strijdom who has run many expeditions to locate and catalogue new & endangered species of reptiles in countries such as Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mauritius, Zaire, Zambia and Mexico.
After an excellent family day out, return to your hotel during the late afternoon.
