Take a voyage to the Undurraga Vineyard while on this 4-hour private tour. Walk through the park to get to know the landscape and learn about the Mapuche people, native to the area. Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel, then board the van and head out for the Undurraga Vineyard. In 1903 Undurraga Vineyard became the first Chilean vineyard to export to the United States and later in 1930, started exporting to all Latin America. Start the tour at the Undurraga family park, the Aliwen corner, where you will become familiar with the culture of the Mapuche, one of Chile’s numerous indigenous groups.
While in the Aliwen corner, you will see the vegetation of southern Chile, as well as tall ceremonial wooden, carved sculptures that are unique to the Mapuche culture. Then, after you see the modern plants you will visit centennial underground cellars in fundo Santa Ana de Talagante to have a tasting of 4 premium reserve wines. The wines will be accompanied by cheese and dried fruits. Once you are finished tasting wines, you will be able to keep your wine tasting glass as a gift. Take time to shop around in the wine store and purchase wine or souvenirs.
At the end of your tour, you will be transported back to your hotel.
