This full day excursion presents a unique way to experience Ubud, the art capital of Bali. It includes some of the iconic attractions, which shape the incomparable charm and allure of the city.The experience starts with pick up from your hotel in South Bali by our guide at approximately 8:30am, drive to Singapadu village to explore a Balinese compound with its original design and authentic architectural style. The journey continues to Ubud passing through Mas with a stop at a wood-carver and mask-maker workshop.
Watch how the skilled craftsmen create Balinese work of arts. Next stop is the Sacred Monkey Forest, home to the long-tailed macaques. The Pura Dalem Agung Padantegal temple, "Holy Spring" bathing temple and a temple used for cremation ceremonies are all located in the forest. Lunch is at a vegetarian restaurant with a fabulous view over the valley. After lunch a visit to Pura Saraswati temple with its unique and beautiful architecture. The temple is dedicated to Dewi Saraswati, the Goddess of Learning, Literature and the Arts. This is followed by a walk around the Ubud Market, where you can shop for art products at competitive price, and don’t forget to bargain! The day ends with a visit to Antonio Blanco’s Museum to see the beautiful works of this famous Spanish painter. Transfer back to your hotel.
