Begin your day with a visit to Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. The museum includes Pit 1 as the largest, Pit 2, and Pit 3 as well the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. Here, you will see the clay soldiers and horses of distinct facial expressions and positions orderly arranged in battle formations. View the famous Bronze Chariots and Horses as well as many delicate bronze weapons, presenting a real scene of war in ancient China.
In the afternoon, leave the museum and continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The 64.5-meter-high (211.6 feet) pagoda was built in Tang Dynasty, about 1,300 years ago, to house Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back from India. Not far from the pagoda, you will then come across one of the most frequented museums in China, Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. There, you will gain further insight into Chinese history and culture through the large collection of historical items. After the full day of touring, the tour guide and driver will transfer you back to your downtown accommodations.
