Spend a full day game viewing in Pilanesberg National Park. You have the option of choosing between an Open Game Viewing vehicle and a closed vehicle. Enjoy lunch at a watering hole in Pilanesberg and witness wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, kudus, warthog, zebra and many other species. You will be accompanied by an experienced guide who knows the park and the best spots to possibly find the different animals.Start your day at about 6am when a qualified safari guide will pick you up. As this is a private safari, your group will be picked up and immediately head to Pilanesberg.
It is about a 2.5 hours' drive to Pilanesberg but your guide will make a coffee / breakfast stop half way, in the Hartbeespoort area.
Arrive at Pilanesberg National Park at about 09:00am and the morning game drive will start as soon as all guests had a toilet break and your group's guide finish his / her safety briefing on the open or closed vehicle - depending on which option you chose. You will have the unique opportunity to see the entire Big 5 on this game drive before lunch.
At about 12:00pm you will enjoy a lunch at a restaurant next to a watering hole in the middle of Pilanesberg. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, warthog, blue wildebeest and many other species are often seen in this location and you might even see them while having your lunch.
After lunch you will have another game drive for about 3 hours to try and spot the species you haven't yet seen. Your guide will take you to the dams and other spots best known for good sightings.
Conclude your tour back in Johannesburg.
