Drive to Mount Etna (approx. 3 hours) up to 6500 feet at Rifugio Sapienza. Enjoy a walk at the nearby Silvestri Craters.
It is also possible to reach 8200 feet on board of a cablecar, and then continue with special off-road vehicles that will take you to the altitude authorized by the competent authorities (approx. 9800 feet) - here Etna mountain guides will accompany you as close to the areas where the vitality of the vulcano is revealed. Admire the panorama extending out over the sea, the impressive Central and South-Eastern Craters and the lava flows which characterize the surrounding area.
