Alternatively there is an option to drive to Arad and reach the base of Masada Western access approach or climb the short distance, easy walk, to explore the Herodion water cisterns and then climb to Masada itself and explore its magnificence. After completing our tour we can walk down the Snake Path, or taken the cable car and visit the Museum.
