Enjoy a private all-inclusive tour to the Lagoon of Guatavita, knwon as "El Dorado" of Colombia, one of the sacred lakes of the Muisca indians. Visit the colonial village of Guatavita, admire the beautiful landscape of the Tominé Reservoir and take some panoramic pictures of Bogotá from the viewpoint of "La Calera".The tour starts at 9am. We pick you up at your hotel and leave the city in direction to the Lagoon of Guatavita. The trip lasts around 1.45-hour. Arriving to the Lagoon we accompany you to the entrance where the tour through the natural park up to the lagoon starts. The tour is headed by an English speaking guide.
Please note that good shoes are recommended as the hike up to the lagoon is on a natural track and lasts approximately 30 minutes.
The tour in the natural park takes around 75 minutes and is followed by a typical Colombian lunch in the village of Sesquilé.
After lunch enjoy a moment of silence admiring the beautiful landscape of Tominés Reservoir and discover the colonial village of Guatavita and its bullring.
Already entering to Bogotá we stop at the viewpoint "La Calera" from where you have a great over view of part of Colombia's capital.
Getting back to Bogotá we leave you at your hotel.
