Jamali-Kamali Masjid, located inside the Mehrauli Archaeological Park is believed to be haunted. The place is named after Jamali Kamali, two renowned sufi saints who were buried here in 1535. The place is notorious for paranormal noises, It is said that one can hear all kinds of teasing noises calling out to you. These noises are accepted to come from the Jamali Kamali tomb and nearby graves. It is often said to be an unsafe place to visit in night.

Djinns at Feroz Shah Kotla Fort
Feroz Shah Kotla fort is a lonely haunted place often said to have Djinns residing in the ruins of the fort. The fort was built in 1354 by Feroz Shah Tughlaq. The site gets alive every Thursday as locals light candles, incense sticks and write letters to appease the djinns.

Khooni Darwaza
Khooni Darwaza or Lal Darwaza is a Mughal architecture located near Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. The Khooni Darwaza is one of the 13 surviving gates of Delhi. It is often said to be a haunted place. The story goes like this, the Britishers killed the 3 surviving sons of Bahadur Shah Zafar, during the Sepoy mutiny. And the legend says, the 3 Mughal princes still haunt this doorway and wait to avenge their killing.

Sanjay Van
People have reported seeing a lady ghost dressed in white clothes and walking around the old trees in Sanjay Van. Others have also encounters screaming and crying of children and mysterious sounds. Sanjay Van, near Vasant Kunj in South Delhi is a vast stretch of greenery of about 10 Kms. Sanjay Van is accepted to have some of the oldest plantation of Banyan and Peepal trees, ideal for ghosts.

The Nicholson Cemetery
Nicholson’s Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in town. People say there are a lot many graves of British soldiers, their wives and children buried here which makes this place haunted. It is believed that there are many ghosts inside the cemetery and one can often hear strange noises coming from the cemetery during midnight.

Delhi Cantonment
Delhi Cantonment is a popular haunted place in the city. The Delhi Cantt shelters a lady spirit who died in a car accident here. Many people have confirmed her presence. She is said to appear clad in a white saree with grey hair and hairy hands. On seeing, if people don’t stop their vehicle, she runs towards the vehicle and if you stop, she vanishes. Elders suggest everyone crossing this particular area, not to stop the vehicle if someone asks for a lift or tries to stop you.

House No. W-3
House No. W-3, Greater Kailash I is an abandoned house located in South Delhi. The house is said to be haunted as an aged couple were murdered a decade ago in the house. After this incident, various spooky sounds, crying noises and screams are heard from the house.
