At 08.00 am you will meet your Egyptologist guide at your hotel in Giza to start a full day tour to visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses about 250.000 antique pieces including the statues, sarcophagi and the fabulous treasures of Tutankhamen. You will then be driven to visit the Citadel of Saladin with the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali.
Then to the famous Khan El Khalili bazaar (Since the 14th century), one of the city’s major souks (open-air marketplaces). Browse the tightly packed stalls displaying everything from spices and leather goods to jewelry, all on a street that has hardly changed for centuries. Bargaining is expected, so prepare to negotiate. After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
