A cyclo will pick up you at 5pm from your hotel. Our first
stop is at “Hen Island” to enjoy clam dishes such as clam rice and clam
noodles. The atmosphere here is of a traditional Vietnamese countryside, very
peaceful and green. We then move on to one of Hue's best known restaurants for
local delicacies, here you will enjoy the special cake Banhbeo, Nam and
Loc.
We then walk down Le Loi Street beside the perfume river and pass over Truong
Tien bridge, which takes us to Dong Ba market. Bun thit nuong is on the menu
here. This is a popular Vietnamese cold rice vermicelli dish with grilled pork,
fresh herbs, salad and fish sauce.
Continuing to Dinh Tien Hoang street we try Nemlui, which are Vietnamese
skewers traditionally made from the Hue region and Banh Khoai a local
Vietnamese cake made from Casava, sugar and coconut milk.
The cyclo continues to visit other great Hue evening spots and you will see the
Imperial Citadel in the sparkling night lights. Our tour will end around 9pm
back at your hotel.
