Cross into Big Cypress National Preserve and jump out at the Oasis Visitor Center to take a 15-minute stroll along the boardwalk with your guide for a close-up look at alligators, birds and fish wading and swimming in the water. Learn how invasive exotic fish such as the Mayan Cichlid has damaged ecosystems in the Everglades, and continue in your Jeep along Loop Road through the preserve, listening to stories about its history and people, from Native Americans to pioneers to Gladesmen to present-day residents.
