Chinese Sturgeon is strictly protected by the Chinese government, named a “national treasure” much like its mammalian counterpart, the giant panda.
After lunch you will visit the Peach Blossom Village, situated at Nanjin Pass. Its history could be traced back to 1st century BC. They are all well-known for their particular charm.
Our final stop is Sanyou Cave – Three Travelers’ Cave. The origin of this cave may be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. In 819, three Tang Dynasty poets, Bai Juyi, his brother Bai Xingjian and Yuan Zhen, met in Yichang and made an excursion to this site. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to your hotel, Yichang East Railway Station or cruise pier for your onward journey.
