On this tour, explore all the highlighted attractions about giant pandas in and around Chengdu. Your private guide and vehicle will escort you throughout the tour as you meet the lovely pandas at Chengdu Panda Breeding Center in the morning. Stop by the Panda Post to send a unique panda postcard and then take a photograph with the world’s biggest panda sculpture.A private guide will pick you up from your hotel in Chengdu at around 8:30am, and transfer you directly to the Chengdu Panda Breeding Center in the morning. Your guide will call you at the hotel one day in advance (contact time 5pm-9pm) or will leave a message for you to confirm the pick-up time. The whole tour will last for about five hours, depending on the activities you take part in.
About 40 minutes away from the urban city by car, the Chengdu Panda Breeding Center is the closest panda base from which to meet this national treasure. The enclosures there are large and offer a nice environment for the pandas. Your experienced guide will share his or her knowledge about pandas along the way.
Lunch will be at your own expense but your guide will recommend a nice local restaurant to you. The next stop is the Panda Post near the Wide and Narrow Alleys.

You can buy everything featuring the giant panda, from stamps, postcards, envelopes, and albums, to toys and all kinds of souvenirs. You can send lovely postcards to anywhere in the world. It also offers an interesting service to mail a postcard to yourself, from 10 to 20 years in the future.
After a relaxing walk along the Wide and Narrow Alleys, your last stop is Chunxi Road, where you can find the largest panda sculpture in the world climbing on the wall of Chengdu International Finance Square. This giant panda is called “I Am Here!” and it was created by the famous artist, Lawrence Argent. What a unique experience to take a photo with it! After the tour, your guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel in central Chengdu.
