After the 9:00am pickup from your Cape Town hotel, travel towards Paarl and past Drakenstein Prison, formerly known as Victor Verster Prison. This is where Nelson Mandela endured his incarceration years before. The first stop will be at Vrede and Lust, established in 1688, for your first wine tasting. Hereafter, you will continue towards Franshhoek for a second tasting at La Motte. Franschhoek is known as where the French Huguenots settled in 1820. Take time to walk around and explore the beautiful shops of this great city.
Relax and enjoy lunch at La Petite Femme or the equivalent from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Once you have finished your meal, travel to Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa.
