This private 8-hour day trip from Munich is the perfect way to explore the Bavarian beer culture and enjoy an amazing day with traditional Bavarian beer and food, history and sightseeing in the Bavarian Alps. Visit the Bavarian village of Murnau and learn about the art of brewing beer as well as its history and taste several typical Bavarian dishes.Starting from Munich in the morning, you will take the train to the city of Murnau after a short guided walking tour of downtown Munich. Once arrived in downtown Murnau, you will be give a private tour of the village nestled away in the Bavarian Alps. You will learn about the history and art of beer brewing while wandering the city streets of this beautiful village.

After an hour in downtown Murnau including sightseeing and souvenir shopping (at own expense), the tour will visit a local brewery and restaurant for a private tour of the facility including free samples. Following a private tour of the brewery by the master brewer (Braumeister) while sampling along the way, you will be given a test to see what you learned and to get awarded with a Brewmeister's certificate. Next, is an evening feast of duck, pork, chicken, sauerkraut, and dumplings. The tour finishes after dinner when it returns to the train station.
