Enjoy the views of Rangitoto Island from Mission Bay Beach. Pay a brief visit to M.J. Memorial Park, enjoy the stunning views of Waitemata Harbour and then pass through Parnell Village and Rose garden on the way to visit Auckland Domain.
You will be amazed by the mind-blowing views from Mt Eden. The mountain is the second highest natural point in the entire Auckland region, explore the amazing features on foot with a heritage walk.
We then continue to the area we call Eco City, drive through village-style Titirangi in the hills, to Karekare - our famous black sand beach. This is the place where the movie “The Piano” was filmed in 1993 and since then many other films have been filmed here.
The Waitakere ranges are also known as the Eco City. We drive to the west coast, past the rain forest in the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, rugged black volcanic sand beaches, raging surf and a vast range of native bush that provide much of the backdrop here. The area is a magnet for artists and craftsmen alike with its peaceful and uncrowded nature, take time to enjoy a waterfall and wonder what it would be like if this was your own backyard.
We then take you back to Auckland to your hotel or your preferred destination.
