If you wish to receive a better understanding about the popular Ubud Village then the “all about Ubud” private full-day tour is a great choice for you. Your tour will take you into the Ubud monkey forest, rice fields and to enjoy the taste of coffee luwak in Ubud. You will also visit sub villages in Ubud to get a better understanding of the local arts and crafts which are blended with the culture of Bali.

At 8:30am you will be met at your accommodation by your private driver.

At around 10am you will arrive at the Ubud Rice Fields. Located at Tegalalang, this area is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system). This view alone has an outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.

At around 11:30am enjoy the process of making coffee at a local coffee plantation in Ubud. The coffee is made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by Luwak the Asian Palm Civet and other related civets, then passed through its digestive tract. The coffee beans finish the journey by passing through civets’ intestines before they defecate. After that the farmers collect the still-intact beans from the forest floor there will be a cleaning, roasting and grounding process just like other coffee. You will be shown the coffee making process as well as having a chance to taste all coffee, tea and cocoa drinks except for Coffee Luwak (which you can purchase locally).

At 2pm mingle at Ubud Monkey Forest. There are around 200 monkeys in Ubud forest. All the monkeys in this forest consist of three groups, dwell certain areas and use the certain place and certain time. However, it also happened that entire group can use the forest and whenever two groups are existing at same place and time, they will fight each other. These monkeys are believed as Gods Guard of Dalem Agung Temple.

At 3pm explore Ubud Royal Palace. This is the beautiful Balinese traditional house of the king of Ubud. It is set in the center of Ubud with traditional art markets just in front of it. This palace is an artistic cultural life center. The existence of Puri Saren as a palace is equipped by an auditorium that is a large building of meeting rooms and a banyan tree as a shelter place during the daytime.

Visit the Ubud art villages at 4pm. You will get a chance to learn about the fine arts and paintings. Mas Village is one of the villages in Bali identified as an artistic countryside by focusing on the art of wood carving where you will see creative people do their craft. Celuk Village is the place to see patient Balinese artists make silver jewelry while also being renowned for its silver filigree and gold jewelry with great quality. Tohpati Village is known as the center of Batik weaving, here you will observe people making Batik paintings.

You will arrive back at your accommodation around 6pm.
