Day 1 Airport*- Sibiel – Museum of Painted Glass Icons
Right after your arrival you will be transferred to the heart of the country, Sibiel, where the locals have kept the traditions unchanged and they are still wearing peasant clothes made in their own homes. Your first visit will be at the Museum of Painted Glass Icons, the largest of its kind in Romania.

Day 2 Sibiel – fortified church of Biertan – Sighisoara fortress – Sibiel
Start the day by entering the medieval atmosphere of Transylvania. Start with the fortified church of Biertan built by the ethnic German Transylvanian Saxon community included in the UNESCO patrimony which has its original substance preserved since the end of the 15th century. Afterwards move on to Sighisoara, south eastern Europe’s only fortress that has been inhabited constantly for almost 1000 years
Day 3 Hiking in Mărginimea Sibiului, one of the most beautiful rural areas in Europe
Enjoy a ride by a cart pulled by horses, a means of transport still used in Romania in the countryside. The journey will take you through the Carpathian forests where your sight will be delighted by the nature surrounding you.
Day 4 Sibiel – Alba Carolina fortress (Alba Iulia) – Calnic Castle – Sibiel
On this day visit Alba Iulia’s star shaped fortress surrounded by 12 km of walls, Alba Carolina, the largest in Romania. The continue to Calnic Castle with one of the most imposing defensive structures in Transylvania.
Day 5 Glass painting workshop – traditional Romanian wedding
In the morning participate in a glass painting workshop, learning about the special techniques used and perfected over the years by craftsmen in the area. Join a Romanian wedding and witness all the local customs starting at the bride’s and groom’s house. In the end participate at a party celebrating the newlyweds with traditional food and beverages. Everywhere you go you will be accompanied by musicians playing cheerful songs. **

Day 6 Sibiel – Sibiu, European cultural capital in 2007 – Sibiel
Your trip can’t end without a visit to one of Romania's cultural and tourism capitals, Sibiu. Enjoy a walk on the narrow streets and reach the main square which is surrounded by historical buildings and very well preserved that hosts museums, chic cafes and stores.
Day 7 Sibiel – airport
Saying good-bye to the unique atmosphere of Transylvanian villages, we leave for the airport.
