Move on to the ancient town of Óbidos where you will enjoy a traditional beverage, Ginginha. Later, visit the fishing village of Nazaré, capturing many memories along the way. Start the day with a pickup by your private guide, then head out to "Quinta do Sanguinhal". Composed of 40 hectares, 25 of which are vineyards, Quinta do Sanguinhal is located on a plateau with gentle slopes of clay and sandy soil. One of the company’s old distilleries is set up here, as well as the
cellars with wooden barrels where they age the brandies and fortified
wines. While at the winery, visit the gardens of the 19th century, vineyards, and the recovered old distillery. See the old mill dated from 1871, the aging cellar, and partake in optional wine tasting that includes 2 whites, 1 rosé, 3 red wines, 1 liqueur wine, toast, regional cheese and traditional cookies.
Continue to Óbidos, a charming and picturesque medieval village with white washed homes decorated with flowers and magnificent monuments. Relax in a medieval bar while enjoying the famous local liqueur, Ginjinha, served in a chocolate cup. Have lunch before relaxing on the beach of São Martinho do Porto where you may swim and walk along the sand. Afterwards, visit Nazaré, a traditional fishing village and discover many original traditions. The seven colorful skirts worn by Nazaré women have been worn since the days when they used to wait for their husbands to return from the day's fishing trip.
Finally, head to the Alcobaça Monastery, classified by Unesco as the Monastery or Royal Abbey of Santa Maria. Explore the Monstary, founded by the Order of Cistercians in 1153. Once your tour comes to an end, begin your journey back to your accommodations.
