You will visit the ancient city of Termssos located high in the mountains on the territory of the National Park, which is considered to be the most beautiful ancient city in Turkey. You will walk around the scenic Duden waterfall, which flooding down the rocks creates a cave on the back. A trip with a meal included in the price.You will leave your hotel to head to the nearby landscape park. You will enter it walking down the paths and bridges with a possibility of walking around the Duden waterfall from all sides. You are also able to go on the back of the falling water mirror and walk down the stone halls behind the waterfall to feel its great energy and see it from totally different perspective. The river creates 2 waterfalls. In the park, you are able to relax in a beautiful environment by the glass of Turkish tea (your own expense).
Then we will head a little outside the Antalya on north to visit one of the most beautiful ancient cities in Turkey – Termessos. On our way, we will stop in a restaurant for a lunch (included in the price).
Termessos is located pretty high in the Taurus mountains. You will deviate from the highway to ride the last 9km up the mountain on a high road that in ancient times was a King Road. Right after arriving at the Termossos you will see the Temple of Hadrian and Temple of Artemis, one out of 6 temples located within the city. Among the Termessos monuments, you will see aqueducts, water cisterns, gymnasium and baths as well as the house of the city founder. The most beautiful building in the Termessos is a Hellenistic theatre. It is the most highly located building in the city, surrounded by mountains tops with excellent view on the region. You will see what a great experience it was to watch a spectacle here. The ruins of the city are strewn around on the mountainsides on an extensive area. Therefore, the trip requires good physical condition and footwear.
