The tour begins in Providencia and will work its way down the frequently traveled Parque Forestal until reaching the historical district. We will show you the heart and soul of Santiago. It's the perfect tour for all those who are culturally curious and love history!The tour starts at the meeting point in Providencia and, as it reaches downtown, the itinerary will be as follows:
We will visit Parque Forestal, an iconic park created on reclaimed land from the Mapocho River. It is as popular with Chileans as it is with foreigners. We'll then head to Barrio Lastarria, a neighborhood at the center of much of Santiago's cultural activity, with theaters, museums, restaurants and bars. Continue on to Cerro Santa Lucia, a 65,300 square meter park, adorned with ornate facades, fountains, two forts and a cemetery. We'll head to Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, the National Museum of Fine Arts. One of the major centers for Chilean art nestled within the popular Parque Forestal.
