On the Olympic Peninsula, the lush ferns and mosses will make you forget the real world. Tour includes a visit to a Pacific Ocean beach with sea stacks and sand, a walk through easy trails in the Hoh Rain Forest, and a 30-minute trail to a waterfall. You and your personal guide will depart Seattle in the morning for a full 12-plus hour day. You'll delight at the scenery on a WA State Ferry across Puget Sound to the Olympic Penninsula. About an hour drive from there, you'll arrive for your first easy trail walk to lake Crescent and Merrymere Falls. No hurries or worries!

You'll then head to Forks, WA for lunch at a restaurant -or just stop at the deli for a sandwich, you decide- and we'll keep moving. Next stop: the Hoh Rain Forest. The enormous trees will remind you of the past and probably cause a moment of peace. There are 2 trails in the hoh Rain Forest there, and you may attend a walk with a local ranger for more details along your walk. Then to the ocean! Sand, sea swells and sea critters in the sea stack rockeries delight. Simple dinner will be in Aberdeen, Kurt Cobain's birthplace, then homeward bound.
