Private day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira, a city situated on the Atlantic coast.You will be picked up in the morning, then start the day trip to Essaouira. The drive takes approx 2.5hrs from Marrakech. Essaouira is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage site, it combines history and culture with modern cafes and restaurants, you’ll have the opportunity to stroll through the hive of activity as the day’s catch of fish and seafood is brought ashore, while learning about the history and development of the area. You can choose your own lunch from here to have cooked by one of the local restaurants a little later. Essaouira has many activities taking place on the beach – local boys are playing football, families are enjoying the beach and camel owners providing camel rides along the coast line. This day trip returns back to Marrakech around 6pm. On the way back to Essaouira you have the option to stop and visit an Argan Oil Women Cooperative.
