Cross the picturesque Hawkesbury River before arriving at your first stop, the Australian Reptile Park. The Australian Reptile Park is located at Somersby on the Central Coast and is home to a variety of reptiles, including snakes, lizards and crocodiles, as well as other Australian animals, such as kangaroos, cassowaries and Tasmanian devils.
You'll then visit the chocolate factory. Established in the Valley more than ten years ago the original Hunter Valley Chocolate Company and Fudge Factory is one of the premier attractions in the area. At the Lovedale location you are able to view the chocolatier and the fudge maker preparing the range of chocolates and fudge for their stores.
Time to taste some superb, award winning wines. You'll visit some of the 40 years old Estates which have been producing some of the most awarded wines in the Hunter Valley and are home to two of the oldest vineyards in the picturesque Mount View region.The vineyards produce fruit of exceptional quality which is handcrafted in the boutique winery.
After wine tasting it’s time to have one big lunch (own expense) with some breathtaking beautiful views you will never forget.
Hunter Valley Gardens is nestled at the foothills of the Brokenback Ranges, in the heart of the Hunter vineyards. You will find the magnificent Hunter Valley Gardens – over 60 acres of spectacular international display gardens that will amaze you with sensational sights, colors, fragrances and adventures. Exploring over 8 kilometers of walking paths, you will be able to experience each of the ten individual feature gardens with a range of statuary and superb feature gardens, all of a standard you won’t see elsewhere in Australia.
Before going back to Sydney you will visit a cheese factory, preservative free and manufactured on site to traditional cheese making recipes.
