After meeting your host Pink at a BTS station you'll drive in local transportation 45 minutes to their garden home, a weekend escape away from the city. You'll begin your culinary experience by exploring the garden and picking fresh herbs like chili, basil, kafir lime, lemon grass, and coriander – everything you’ll need for today’s lunch.
Your host Pink will teach you to cook sweet green curry from scratch, including pressing the coconut milk from fresh coconuts. She might also teach you dishes like grilled mushrooms tossed with basil, chili, shallots, and then steamed in banana leaves, and stir-fried shrimp with garlic, white pepper seeds, and coriander root. Enjoy the delicious meal you helped prepare with your host while learning about Thai culinary and cultural heritage from a local.
After your experience is complete, Pink will help you with transportation back to the city. Leave Pink with new recipes, a new friend, and lifelong memories.
Please note, this is not a professional cooking class, rather this experience is a visit into an authentic, local home to meet a local person and share the culture and cuisine together.
