Start your day with a journey out to the religious center of Myanmar. You will be picked up from your hotel by your guide and drive out to Salay to experience the culture and beautiful architecture of this ancient town.
During your half-day experience you will visit numerous monasteries including Yoke Son Kyaung, the oldest surviving wooden monastery, with beautiful carvings of court life and scenes from the Ramayana.
Explore the local town including it’s market and view the many untouched colonial buildings of that area. After you have had time to visit the sites and experience the local life or Salay you will be transported back to your hotel in Bagan.
