Start your experience in the morning with a pickup from your centrally located Amman hotel. Board your air-conditioned minivan and travel south with your private driver through the arid landscapes and mountains of Jordan.
Your destination is the Dead Sea, a vast expanse of water sitting at around 1,312 feet (400 meters) below sea level — the lowest point on Earth. Its waters have a high salt and mineral content caused by the evaporating waters of incoming rivers, so when you ‘swim’ you float! Due to these high levels of salt and minerals, the waters are known for their curative powers and their mud and minerals are used in an array of therapeutic treatments.
Book a standard tour, and when you arrive, your driver will drop you at the beachside Dead Sea Beach Rest House. Enjoy time at your leisure to relax on the sands and float in the shimmering waters.
