This is a short half-day tour (approx 3 hours) where you will have the chance to visit the premises of the famous Salah El Din Citadel situates in the heart of Old Cairo along with Mohamed Ali Mosque which is located within the walls of the complex. After the sightseeing portion is concluded , you will end the excursion with lunch at a local restaurant within the vicinity.You will be picked up from your hotel or address of preference by a private vehicle and a private guide. You will then head to the Citadel. Along the way the guide will give a brief introduction of the tour at hand and answer any questions you may have. Upon entering the site, you will be shown around the grounds with further explanation of the history and architecture of the vast complex. Enjoy taking photos from the various vantage points with panoramic views of the city.

Enter into the Mosque of Mohamed Ali with your guide while he explains the history of the iconic structure and the significance of Mohamed Ali; one of the most controversial rulers of Modern Egypt. Later in the day as the tour comes to an end you will have the chance to taste the oriental cuisine of Egypt in a local restaurant nearby. During lunch your guide will be available to cater to any unanswered questions you may still have. Upon conclusion you will be driven back in your private vehicle to your hotel or preferred drop-off point.
