Bali has some really beautiful places that you can enjoy during this 10-hour private tour. Some points of interest on this tour include Kerta Gosa, Kusamba, Goa Lawah, Tenganan and Tirta Gangga.
At 8:00am you will have a meet and greet at your accommodation with your private driver before heading off to Kerta Gosa for an approximate 9:30am arrival. Located in the heart of Semarapura Town, Kertagosa is one of beautiful historical sites in Bali. In ancient times this place is used to announce important news, such as judicial legislation, punishment, etc by the king. Kerta Gosa is also a part of the Puri Semarapura royal palace. It features two main structures, first, a grand hall named Bale Kerta Gosa with ceilings filled with Kamasan or wayang-style paintings, and second, the Bale Kambang, or "floating hall", is surrounded by the pond.
At 11:00am you will arrive at Kusamba which has a marvelous view. It’s not really a big village, yet you can find a unique experience. Discover the salt-making local people using traditional tools ranging from taking seawater, sand-leveling tools, water filtration equipment and salt drying equipment. The black sands of Kusamba also offer magnificent views of the Indian Ocean.
Visit Goa Lawah at 12:00pm. Located on Karangasem regency, Goa Lawah literally means “bat cave”. Situated in the northern part of the Goa Lawah temple, this cave is a nature habitat to more than one-hundred bats. The temple was established in the 11th century by Mpu Kuturan, one of the priests who laid the foundations of Hinduism on the Bali island.
After, explore the indigenous village of Tenganan at 1:30pm. Tenganan retains its ancient pre-Hindu customs through a strong code of non-fraternization with outsiders and the Tenganese people who move out of the village are not welcomed back, nor are their spouses if the village people get married to outsiders. It is a symmetrically laid-out Bali Aga village with walled homes and unique crafts. Bali Aga were the original inhabitants of Bali, before the arrival of Hindu Javanese.
At 3:00pm you will arrive at Tirta Gangga. The name Tirta Gangga refers to the water palace It’s build in 1948 by Karangasem King, Anak Agung Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. Tirta Gangga surrounded by beautiful pools, fountains, lush green gardens, plus several stone carvings and statues. Because the water of Tirta Gangga is regarded as holy, it is used regularly for religious temple ceremonies. When an important celebration is coming Tirta Gangga becomes more colorful, decorated with offerings, flags, penjor, etc.
Arrive back at your accommodations by approximately 6:30pm
