Start the day with a pickup from your central Cusco accommodations by your private guide. Head to the Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary where you will see some rescued animals, especially condors. Pay a visit to a neighboring farm where you will observe and take pictures with beautiful alpacas, llamas, vicunas, and guanacos. Afterwards, learn how the Andean people make impressive textiles using very old and traditional techniques.
Later, visit Pisac, located at the entrance to the Sacred Valley, also an amazing Inca City that constitutes one of the most important Archaeological Parks in the region.Visit the fine temples, palaces and the well preserved and vast farming terraces; built even as far as the edge of precipices that still keep their straight sometimes vertical aqueducts. See the Pisac Colonial Village, where you will see the famous "Indian Market" and the handicrafts or "souvenirs" market. This is your chance to enjoy a blend of color, traditions and people, and bargain for exotic crafts.
Have lunch, then tour the oldest continuously inhabited dwellings in South America, where people are still living in the same houses and palaces as 500 years ago, Ollantaytambo. Observe the impressive buildings created out of gigantic boulders and learn of the ancient heritage. On your way back to Cusco, take a tour of the Chinchero Ruins. Once your tour is over, your guide will return you to your Cusco hotel to enjoy the rest of your evening.
