Your professional driver-guide will pick you up at your accommodation in split (upon request) or you can depart from the central meeting point at Split Port. You will board aboard your luxury, air-conditioned minivan for your journey to Montenegro which will take about 4.5 hours one-way following the main highway to cut out any unnecessary travel time. After the short break in Dubrovnik, you will board your vehicle and drive south alongside Adriatic coast passing cities Cavtat and Konavle and soon thereafter you will cross the border to Montenegro (passports required). Continuing on, you will drive alongside the Bay of Kotor (Europe’s most southern fiord) passing the cities Igalo, Herceg Novi (two great Turkish turned Venetian fortresses) and Bijela, Kamenari where you will make a photo stop in front of magical Perast – city of seamen and the 2 small islands with St. George's church and Our Lady of the Rocks (Gospa od Škrpjela). After the short stop, you will continue the journey through Risan and stop at Perast town where your driver-guide explains major buildings and its rich history. Finally, you will reach the city of Kotor, nestled in the very bottom of the Bay of Kotor which is surrounded by formidable verticals of neighboring mountains. Here, your driver-guide will provide an overview of the town and its main highlights St. Tryphon Cathedral, St. Nikola Church, the city walls and old city.
During the entire trip, you can ask your driver-guide any questions or let them know about your interests. At the end of your time in Kotor, you will board your vehicle and return to Split.
