Head to the mosque of Ahmed Ibn Tulun (879 AD) with its unique minaret, then your guide will take you to start your walking tour starting from Bab Zuwayla through Street of Muezz (the founder caliph of Cairo in 970 AD) to visit the Al Khayammeyah (tent makers market), Mosque-Mausoleum of Sultan al-Mu'ayyad Shaykh (1422 AD), Sabil-Kuttab of Tusun Pasha (1820 AD) and the Mosque of al-Azhar (970 AD).
Move on to the biggest market, Khan El-Khalili Bazaar (1382 AD), the hospital, madrasa, and mausoleum of Sultan al-Mansur Qalawun (1285 AD) and the Madrasa-Khanqah of Sultan Barquq (1386 AD). Your guide will show you the Museum of Textiles and the Mosque of al-Aqmar (1125 AD), before seeing Bayt al-Sihaymi (1648 AD), the best example of an old Cairo house.
Next, see the Mosque of al-Hakim (1013 AD), before finishing your tour at Bab al-Futuh, Bab al-Nasr, and the Northern Walls (1087 AD). In between you will have lunch at a local restaurant and have plenty of time to take pictures. Your guide will drive you back to your hotel after the tour ends.
