First up is the thoroughbred horse racing track, Club Hípico de Santiago, then on to one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Chile, the neighborhood República, in the center of the city. Stroll around the civic center with visits to the Government Palace and Constitucion Square, as your guide explains how life works in Chile and how the use of historic buildings is different than other countries of South America.

Soon, you’ll arrive at Plaza de Armas, one of the most important points of the city, as a piece of history may be found on virtually every street. Important monuments such as The Cathedral, Post office building, Nature Historic Museum, City Hall of Santiago, as well as important statues such as Pedro de Valdivia and Horse and the sculpture of Mapuche culture. After, head to the top of Santa Lucia Hill and learn about the area’s aboriginal culture and enjoy the first lookout-point of the tour.

Continue a bit north of the city to see the Fine Arts Museum before arriving at Pio Nono Street in the Bellavista barrio, with its excellent view of the San Cristobal Hill. Take the funicular to the top of the hill, one of the highest in the city. From the top you'll get wonderful views of the city in general, as well as the Andes Mountains. The next stop is in the financial district at the highest building in Latin America, Sky Costanera. Climb aboard the elevator and go 72 floors in just 2-minutes to the observatory where you’ll enjoy fantastic 360-degree views.

After, take a drive 45-minutes south of the city for lunch at a country restaurant, surrounded by trees and nature, to enjoy typical Chilean food with meats, salads and drinks. After lunch, choose between a visit to Santa Rita or Concha y Toro Winery. A traditional tour of these wineries includes three wine tastings and an approximate 1.25-hour tour.

After, head back to the city to your hotel or a central point in the city.
