Visit the highlights of the city of Cusco on a private tour. You will see Inca Streets, the local food market, the cathedral, the Temple of the Sun, Saqsaywaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. Your tour includes a private guide and transportation.
The tour starts at 9am with a pick up from your hotel, then you will enjoy a private walking tour visiting the important Inca streets, the local market, the cathedral with its fabulous art: paintings and works in carved cedar wood gilded with gold and silver leaf. You'll also see the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha, “the enclosure of gold ", with its perfect stonework and architecture reflecting the fact that it was the most important and most sacred temple during the Incan empire.
In the afternoon at 2pm, you'll go by car and visit the Incan remains of temples. You'll first visit Sacsayhuaman, which is a wonder of the world where the cyclopean stones of more than 100 tons fit so perfectly that one cannot introduce a knife between them. Then, you'll go to Qenqo which was dedicated to Mother Earth and the four natural elements. Finally, you'll see Puca Pucara Archaeological site and the baths of Tambomachay, temple where the water was worshiped. Optional activities you can chooseare to experience a typical Peruvian lunch (taste guinea pig or alpaca if you wish) at a local restaurant with an amazing view of the city or visit an alpaca clothes factory. Lunch not included but you will have transportation provided.
