10am – Visit the Chittorgarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. This massive fort is located on a high hill near the Gambheri River in Chittorgarh City and is truly an embodiment of chivalry and pride of the Rajputs. A glimpse of the fort still makes one think of the glory of the Rajputs who once lived here. Approach the fort through seven huge gateways or 'pols', which are guarded by watch tower and massive iron spiked doors.
12:30pm – Enjoy a lunch break at one of the best local restaurants of the city.
2pm – After lunch, make your way back to Udaipur.
4pm – Explore the local handicrafts of the city including camel leather items (bags, wallets, footwear and more), jewelry (both silver and camel bone), Rajasthani fabrics (Batik and Bandhini prints) and miniature paintings. Miniature paintings are made using a rigorous process which involves manufacture of the pigments and colors from scratch. Very often, these paintings are portrayals of real-life events.
6pm – After a memorable day, you will head back to your hotel or the railway station in Udaipur.
