Experience the wonders of Rio de Janeiro with this private, full-day tour. Visit the Christ the Redeemer Statue, drive through the rainforest, see the amazing beaches and watch a stunning sunset at Sugar Loaf Mountain.The tour begins with hotel pickup at the previously scheduled time and place. The first stop is Corcovado Train Station, where you will take the train to go up the mountain and see the Christ the Redeemer statue. The driver will be waiting at the station while you enjoy the train ride, the view and the monument visit with no rush.
After arriving back at the station, the next stop is the Dona Marta viewpoint, where you'll have a great view of the city below. From there, enjoy a scenic drive through the Tijuca Rainforest, one of the world´s largest urban forests. There are two stops here, The Chinese Hat Viewpoint and the Emperor´s Table viewpoint.
The tour will then proceed to Barra da Tijuca, with its 20kms (12.4mi) of beach. It´s a good place to take pictures, relax and enjoy. You will be provided with towels, in case you need them. It´s also a good time for lunch in a beachside Brazilian restaurant.
After lunch, take an incredible drive along the Barra, São Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana beaches. A stop at the Leblon Viewpoint and the Leme Beach is recommended for great photo opportunities.
The tour will then head for Sugar Loaf's cable car station. Again, you will go up to the mountains while the driver waits. Take your time, visit both mountains and be prepared to watch a stunning sunset. When you come down, a short 5-minute walk to the Urca's Wall is recommended. There you can see the whole bay with the Christ on the top of the mountain on the other side. Afterwards, you will be taken back to your hotel.
