This is an 8-hour private tour will let you explore an old water town Zhujiajiao and try some delicious traditional Chinese food in Shanghai. You'll start off with your guide and driver picking you up from your downtown hotel lobby In Shanghai. From there you will visit a beautiful town named Zhujiajiao. You will have over 1 hour to wander around the town from the local residence to the major shopping area and absorb the local atmosphere. Zhujiajiao is a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, and was established about 1,700 years ago. Archaeological findings dating back 5,000 years have also been found. 36 stone bridges and numerous rivers line Zhujiajiao, and many ancient buildings still line the riverbanks today.

Zhujiajiao was used to be the rice trading center for many years so there will be an opportunity to experience the local restaurants selling specialty which is made of sticky rice with open window presentation. After trying the local food as your lunch, you will be driven back to the city and go visit Nanjing Road where has lots of food options. This is a 4 floor shopping mall where only sell different kinds of food.

After exploring the mall, feel free to come visit your tour guide and try some more street food near Nanjing Road.
