This day trip will take you to a fabulous valley, a potter’s village and see the sparkling, natural water sources. Only about 50km from Marrakech towards Ouazazate, Zat Wadi irrigates the original Valley Zat along trails lost in the green setting. The rural life in the valley is unmissable as you go to the village of Tighdouine with access to 7 different natural water sources. The village of pottwers, Talatast, is accessible by mule path. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel at 9:00am and depart from Marrakech. The first stop will be at the village Tighdouine and if you are there on Wednesday, feel free to stop in for the local souk. Then, from Tighedouine, you will go on foot by yourself on the mule path towards Talatast, a small village on top of a hill known for its handcrafted pottery.

Seeing the potters at work is an interesting sight and is a look into the craftsmanship of the village. Continue hiking along the Oued to one of the natural sources of sparkling water which is also a place of pilgrimage. There will an option to purchase lunch in small diners in the area. From here, you will head back to Tighdouine to ride back to Marrakech for an around 4:00pm arrival.
