Enjoy a 5 hour trip to the country side and suburbs of Amsterdam. During the trip, you can see the old wooden houses and the wonderful windmills at the picturesque village of Zaanse Schans that make Netherlands famous around the world. In addition to this, we will also visit a cheese making factory where you can see, in detail, the process of cheese making.
What you will see:
Depart from central Amsterdam in a luxury vehicle, passing places of great heritage and importance. A guide will be present who will tell you where you are and what is the significance of the area. You can select form up to 3 different languages. Your first stop will be Zaanse Schans, which is famous for its huge windmills. Moreover, in Zaanse Schans you can visit the ancient buildings which were build around the 17th century.
Once we fully explore Zaanse Schans, we will head towards Volendam village where you will see women in traditional dresses, old boats, and much more. In Volendam you will visit a cheese factory. The third and final stop will be Marken. In Marken, you can see the old wooden houses and even visit a local shoemaker.
All this experience of a life time will only take you 5.5 hours and you’ll be back in Amsterdam. Starts at 10am from the hotel and finishes around 4pm.
