Join us on our enjoyable wine tasting tour through this submediterranean land.Pick-up by the hotel and morning drive from the hotel to the Slovenian coast. First stop is in Koper. Koper is well-known as the biggest commercial port in Slovenia and also as a home of one the biggest wine producers in Slovenia Vinakoper. You visit this huge wine cellar which goes deeply into the hill with more or less constant temperature through whole year round. In Vinakoper tasting of 5 different wines. There is also a wine shop, where you can buy wines to take it with you.
Further, driving to Piran, medieval town, impressive for its maze of narrow streets and white pavements. Piran with strong Venetian influence and under the rule of Venice, is an very old city, with its origins much older than 2000 years. Piran can boast with very rich and vibrant history. Sightseeing of Piran with its cathedral on the top of the hill, impressive Tartini square, numerous picturesque houses, narrow streets and plenty of nice bars and restaurants.
Some free time to walk through Piran and to explore it on your own and also possibility to take time for a lunch by the sea.
Afterwards, head to small wine producer for wine tasting, located in Slovenian Istria. Wine tasting and guided tour through wine cellar.
After second wine tasting head back to the hotel.
